The entire process from evaluation to having your medical cannabis certification and registration card in hand is 4 weeks.
After your visit with Virginia Cannabis Cards you will receive your Certification for the Use of Cannabis Products via email. From there you will need to visit the Virginia Board of Pharmacy website to register for a medical cannabis card. Your cannabis card will be mailed to you.
Your Certification for the Use of Cannabis Products is valid for 1 year and should be renewed 1 month prior to expiration to avoid any lapse in coverage.
